About the Company :
Kothari Industrial Corp has its first plant in Ennore near Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where it manufactures Superphosphate and is set up on a plush 44-acre campus with state-of-the-art facilities in 1962. The initial production capacity of Sulphuric acid was 50 TPD. With subsequent upgradations, by the late 70’s the production capacity shot up to 70 TPD. Later the plant was converted to Double Conversion and Double Absorption (DCDA) process from an earlier Contact process. By mid-eighties, the production touched 100 TPD. In 2002 the ageing plant and machinery was decommissioned and a new Superphosphate Plant of Monticatani – Italian design was installed with a single stage void scrubbing system and with a capacity of 100 TPD.
The company plans to increase production capacity of 66,000 MT to a capacity of 1,32,000 MT.
