Deepak Nitrite plans expansion programme

Deepak Nitrite is planning to expand its chemical unit in Dahej in Gujarat. The project involves setting up of facility to produce solvent – isopropyl alcohol (IPA). The project cost is estimated at ₹ 200 crore. It has acquired over 125 acres of land for current and future expansion projects. It may be noted that, the company has the country’s largest phenol-acetone plant at Dahej PCPIR with capacity of about 200,000 tonnes per annum.
