Maruti Fertochem Ltd was incorporated in the year 1992, is a part of Aurangabad-based R. J. Group promoted by Mr. Raghavendra S. Joshi. The group has its presence in poultry farming, fertilizers, bio-technology, infrastructure and education sectors. The company commenced its operations in 1994 with manufacturing of granular NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium) fertilizers in different proportions is per the need of crops such as 18:18:10 (balanced fertilizer), 10:20:20 (for sugarcane), 14:06:21 (for areca nut), 16:12:16 (for coffee & tea plantation) etc. Apart from these products, MFL also offers organic fertilizers/ soil conditioners and neem-based pesticides.
It had set up its first unit in Latur (Maharashtra) and thereafter expanded its operations by setting up two more plants, one in Koppal (Karnataka) and Aurangabad (Maharashtra) each. Currently, the company has total installed capacity to manufacture 112,500 Metric Tonnes Per Annum of fertilizers (MTPA- Latur: 30,000 MT, Koppal: 42,500 MT, Aurangabad: 40,000 MT) and operates through its dealers’ network in Maharashtra and Karnataka.
