Subhodaya Chemicals Ltd was incorporated in 1995 and commenced operations from 1997 and is primarily engaged in manufacturing of Single Super Phosphate (SSP) and Sulphuric Acid. The company was promoted by Mr. S.V Choudary, Mr. Raghavendra Rao and Mr. K Venkateswara Rao; subsequently in the year 2000 management of the company was taken over by Mr V. Vidya Sagar, who currently is managing director of the SCL and looks after day to day management and administration of the company. The manufacturing unit of the company is located in west Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The installed capacity of the unit for SSP is 42900 MTPA (130 MT per day) and sulphuric acid is 50000 MTPA (150 MT per day).
