Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals (GNFC) has signed an partnership agreement with Ecophos SA to build a 2,00,000 tpa di-calcium phosphate plant at Dahej, Gujarat. The construction cost of the plant is estimated at Rs 5260 million with an equity investment ratio of 15:85 from GNFC and Ecophos SA. The by-product hydrochloric acid (HCL) produced from toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) will be used to manufacture DCP.
