GSFC is set to acquire controlling stake in Canadian Potash firm – Karnalyte Resources Inc. It plans to acquire 15% share from individual investor named Robin L Phinney. It may be noted, the company had 20% share in 2013 to secure reliable high quality potash supply to India. The company will produce 0.6 million tonnes of potash in the first year and around 0.15 million tonnes of potash will be shipped to India through Sikka port.
