Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers is planning an energy conservation programme at its two urea-ammonia units in Thal in Maharashtra. The conservation programme will carry an investment of Rs. 3630 million. It will optimize or change the existing steam turbine driven machinery to the motor driven mode in the two units.
