FACT has revived production at its Udyogmandal plant in Ernakulam in Kerala. Its production was stopped in January 2014 when the price of natural gas went upto USD 24 and now the price have been reduced to USD 10.9 per unit it has revived production. FACT has an agreement with MMTC for supply of LNG at $10.9 per unit till April 21, 2015. Production is expected within a week. Further, Kerala government has also waived VAT for LNG.
